The exhibition of graphics entitled “Anatomy of Beauty” presents graphic works by Maria Yanchenko, a 6th year student of the Faculty of Medicine. The plot and nature of the works are very unusual and literally mesmerizes at first sight. The idea of ​​accepting life as a miracle, through the combination in graphics of the anatomical structure of human systems and organs with elements of living and inanimate nature, looks unexpected and fresh. Nature as the basis of life! This is a must see!

January 17, 2024 on the basis of the healthcare establishment “City Hospital No. 1 named after. Semashko" in Orsha and the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 21" in Mogilev, career guidance meetings were held with graduating students of general secondary educational establishments, in which a delegation from VSMU, headed by the rector Alexei Chukanov and the representatives of healthcare and educational institutions took part.

On the basis of the educational iestablishment “Vitebsk State Order of Peoples’ Friendship Medical University” from 29/01/2024 to 02/02/2024 the Scientific and Educational School will be held: “Hereditary information and ways of its implementation. Hereditary diseases, basic diagnostic methods" for students with international participation.

By Order of the President of the Republic of Belarus No.13рп dated January 16, 2024, scholarships were awarded to 62 graduate students performing dissertation research in priority areas of scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities in educational institutions and scientific organizations.

In 2023, the VSMU students took part in the Republican competition of anti-drug posters “Say NO to drugs!”, organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus. The competition included posters made by students living in dormitories No. 7, No. 8, studying at the faculties of medicine, dentistry, and pediatrics, as well as those developed by the office of health and healthy lifestyle at the Department of Public Health and Healthcare with the course of FAT and PR and the department of educational work with young people.

According to the results of the competition, Tatyana Solovyova, the 1st year student of the Faculty of Medicine (III place), became the winner and prize-winners of the competition in the nomination “Anti-drug poster for social advertising”, in the nomination “Anti-drug propaganda poster for educational institutions” - Yulia Moroz, the 3rd year student of the Faculty of Medicine ( III place).
