One of the priority tasks for our university in 2024, which is the Year of Quality in our country, and in the following years, is to work to maintain and improve the quality of education, which is impossible without improving the quality of leisure and the level of comfort for the students and university staff. From September 3, 2024, annual flu vaccination will begin at the student health center at Frunze Street, 16.

Vaccination will be carried out on weekdays from 11:00 to 13:00 with the three-component vaccine "Grippol Plus" (RF).

On October 3, 2024, VSMU hosted a reception for a distinguished guest – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Sajjad Haider Khan, who visited the university for the first time. He was welcomed by the Rector of the University Alexey Chukanov, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits and the Head of the Department of International and Interregional Relations Elena Sharykhina.

On October 2-3, 2024, a methodological association of curators of study groups was held at VSMU. The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work Dmitry Kuzhel, the Head of the Methodological Association of Curators Olga Fedchuk, the Head of the SPPS Victoria Mikhlyuk, the Methodologist of the Department for Ideological and Educational Work Inna Matsuk, the Detective Officer of the Department for Combating Cybercrimes of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Vitebsk Ksenia Berezovskaya.
