As part of the cooperation agreement between St. Petersburg Chemical-Pharmaceutical University and VSMU, the 5 third-year students of the pharmaceutical faculty, under the guidance of the deputy dean for educational work Gennady Adamenko, underwent educational pharmacognostic internship at the Russian partner university.

Aleksey Vladimirovich Klemper, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacognosy, worked with our students at St. Petersburg Chemical-Pharmaceutical University. The students visited the Department of Pharmacognosy and the museum of the department, the Botanical Garden and the practice base.

On July 3, 2024, the VSMU staff and students, led by the University Rector Alexei Chukanov, took part in a gala event dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

Columns of the representatives of Vitebsk districts and labor collectives of the city marched in a solemn procession from Pobedy Square to Victory Square.

On June 28, 2024, within the framework of the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia at VSMU, a meeting was held between the Rector of the university, candidate of medical sciences, associate professor Alexei Nikolaevich Chukanov, the Vice-rector for international relations and organizational and legal work Denis Nikolaevich Litsa, the Head of the international relations department Elena Vitalievna Sharykhina, the Head of the International Relations Department Anna Aleksandrovna Pchelintseva with the leadership of Tula State University: the Rector, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Oleg Aleksandrovich Kravchenko, the Vice-Rector for International and Project Activities Olesya Evgenievna Labadze, acting Director of the Medical Institute Roman Vladimirovich Grachev.

On June 28, 2024, within the framework of the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, the Rector of Ivanovo State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Inna Viktorovna Ivanova visited VSMU.

On behalf of VSMU, the Rector was greeted by the Vice-rector for international relations and organizational and legal work Denis Nikolaevich Lits, the Head of the international relations department Elena Vitalievna Sharykhina, and the Head of the international relations department Anna Aleksandrovna Pchelintseva.

A cooperation agreement was signed, many points of contact were found for organizing the exchange of students and teachers, giving lectures, mutual participation in scientific and practical events and other events held by our universities.
