The solemn ceremony of raising the State Flag of the Republic of Belarus dedicated to Constitution Day

raising national flag 01On March 15, 2024, a solemn ceremony of raising the National Flag of the Republic of Belarus, dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus, took place at the Vitebsk State Medical University.

The highest value of the Belarusian society and state is the person, his rights, freedoms and guarantees of their implementation, which is guaranteed to every Belarusian by the Basic Law of our country, which turns 30 in 2024.

The event was attended by the representatives of the administration, university staff and students, and invited guests.

The Vice-Rector for International Relations and Organizational and Legal Work of VSMU Denis Lits addressed those present with a welcoming speech.

The honorary right to raise the National Flag of the Republic of Belarus was granted to the captains of the teams participating in the military-patriotic competition “I would join the army” from BSMU, VSMU, GomSMU, GrSMU.

The Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov, the representatives of the administration, the staff and students of the university took part in the celebration.

Dialogue meeting dedicated to Maslenitsa and Orthodox Book Day

vstrecha dialog 01On March 12, 2024,  within the framework of cooperation between VSMU and the Vitebsk Diocese of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, a meeting-dialogue between the university students and the Head of the Diaconal Center of the Vitebsk Diocese, Inna Kostyukovich, took place in dormitory No. 7. The event was organized by the student council of the hostel, teachers, and employees of the department for educational work with youth and was dedicated to Maslenitsa and Orthodox Book Day (March 14).
