VSMU students took part in the V City Youth Student Educational Forum “STUD.FORUM”

VSMU students took part in the V City Youth Student Educational Forum "STUD.FORUM", held on November 3-4, 2023, at the Losvido TRC. The event started with an open dialogue with the participation of Viktor Glushin - the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, the Head of the Department of Ideological Work of the City Executive Committee Natalya Sokolova and the First Secretary of the Vitebsk City Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union Artur Vitol, where the issues of free travel on public transport and the introduction of a new public transport route in the city of Vitebsk and much more were discussed.

November 7, 1917 is a significant date in the annals of many nations, which determined the course of world history.

This day has become a symbol of the transformation of life, the memory of the enthusiasm of the first Soviet construction projects, admiration for the courage of those who defended the Motherland, who believed in a bright future and went to great lengths in the name of an idea.

For our republic, the events of that time opened the way to national self-determination and its own statehood. With the name of the October Revolution we associate numerous victories, accomplishments and labor achievements of our people, which to this day continue to be the subject of our special pride.

On this holiday, I wish you and your family good health, happiness, peace, new labor achievements for the benefit of the Republic of Belarus!

Test access to ELS "Znanium"

Znanium The library reports that until December 31, 2023, the university has test access to the electronic library system “Znanium” - a universal tool for studying, obtaining reference materials, preparing scientific papers and educational courses, advanced training and acquiring additional knowledge outside the program.

Test access to AccessPharmacy

The library reports that the university has trial access to the McGrawHill AccessPharmacy publishing platform until November 17, 2023.

Access to documents is provided after registration from the university’s IP address.

AccessPharmacy is an electronic resource published by MCGrawHill. The resource provides support for pharmacy education and practice with features such as: leading pharmacy textbooks, quick reference, video library, drug therapy cases, an extensive database of self-tests, evidence-based pharmacy practice topics, and integrated medicines.

A competition has been announced for an intra-university startup grant for young scientists for 2024

Young scientists can apply for an intra-university scientific startup grant for young scientists at VSMU:

under the age of 30 years, working in positions of teaching staff (at the main place of work) for at least 1.0 pay, engaged in research activities;
candidates of science (under the age of 35),
graduate students of VSMU (under 30 years of age);
doctoral students (under 40 years of age).
