On September 1, a meeting of the primary organization of the Belarusian public association of veterans of VSMU was held, the guest of honor of which was Nikolsky M.A., a labor veteran of VSMU. 

On September 21, within the framework of the Unified Information Day “The unity of the Belarusian people is a fundamental factor in preserving and strengthening the sovereignty and independence of the country”, a meeting with the students of the Pediatric Faculty was held, at which the achievements of the Republic of Belarus and the issues of social and economic development of our country were discussed.

As part of Single Awareness Day “The unity of the Belarusian people is a fundamental factor in preserving and strengthening the sovereignty and independence of the country”, the Council of the Faculty of Pharmacy of VSMU considered the issue of changing the Concept of National Security of the Republic of Belarus.

Every year the Students Trade Union committee of Vitebsk State Medical University pays a lot of attention to getting acquainted with freshmen and attracting them to active public life. This academic year was no exception. On September 19, a general meeting of the 1^st year trade unionists was held with the chairman of the students’ trade union committee, Alexander Myasoedov, and the chairmen of the committees of the VSMU students’ trade union committee.

First of all, Alexander Mikhailovich introduced the first-year students to the structure of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, told in detail about the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers, and also emphasized the essence and main directions of work of the primary trade union organization of VSMU students.
