On March 24, there was the final of the IV open competition of national cultures, creativity and beauty called "Grace International". VSMU was represented by students from Sri Lanka, Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The title of I Vice-Miss was won by Mukelenge Bafakulera Rozin from the DR Congo.

The title of Miss Style was awarded to a student Onodu Mmesoma Kosisochukwu from Nigeria.

The title of Miss Creativity was awarded to a student Vithana Palpita Tharini from Sri Lanka.

Big congratulations to our girls!!!

On March 21, 2023, students of our university traditionally took part in the X open city interuniversity festival-holiday "Nowruz" which was held on the basis of Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine. 

The festival began with sports competitions in darts, table tennis and tug-of-war. VSMU students from Iran and Turkmenistan took 1st place in tug-of-war, as well as 2nd and 3rd places in darts competitions. Then the guests of the holiday got to the exhibition, where they could see national costumes, handicrafts, souvenirs, try national dishes. And the bright incendiary concert, in which VSMU students of the Sri Lankan community took part, did not leave anyone indifferent.

The All-star futsal championship organised by the Indian Medical student Union of VSMU was held on 19^th of March 2023 in the VSMU sports complex. 4 teams from boys and 2 teams from girls took part in this tournament. Cultural Dean Maria Alexeevna,  Dr. Denesh Nithiyanandadeva,  presidents of the IMSU and SLMSU as well as many students came to spectate and to cheer for their teams.

On March 10-12, 2023, at the sports base “Secondary school No. 45 named after V.F. Margelov” there was a championship of the Vitebsk region in badminton called “Silver Shuttlecock”. Students and staff of the university took an active part in the competition. Kanishk Ratnakumar (2nd year, FOST) took 1st place in the individual championship among men, Mohamed Rizkan (6th year, FOST) and Kanishk Ratnakumar (2nd year, FOST) took 3rd place in the men's doubles.
