In accordance with the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on cooperation in science and technology dated May 29, 2015, the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research announce a competition of joint Belarusian-Pakistani scientific and technical projects for 2025-2027 in the following areas:

The VSMU employees together with the First Vice-rector Alina Shchupakova visited the exhibition "My Belarus" in Minsk on January 22, 2025, which aroused keen interest. Its sites, in a clear, modern language of communication, tell about the achievements, including in healthcare, of our country over the years of independence thanks to the work of its people, love and patriotism.

On January 22, 2025, a meeting of the VSMU Rector Alexey Chukanov with the University's active members took place.

The event featured a talk about the book "Our President", which tells about the path that the President has taken and continues to take, about how much he has done and is doing for our country and each of us.

In pursuance of the order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus to increase the availability and improve the quality of medical care in the regions, the Leadership of Vitebsk State Medical University is carrying out activities aimed at achieving these goals.

On January 21, 2025, the ceremonial opening of the branch of the Department of Infectious Diseases with a course for advanced training and retraining of personnel of Vitebsk State Medical University took place in the infectious diseases building of Mogilev Hospital No. 1.
