On January 15, 2025, a ceremonial signing of a cooperation agreement between the educational establishment "Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University" and the state educational establishment "Vitebsk Gymnasium No. 8" took place.

The document was signed by the VSMU Rector Alexey Nikolaevich Chukanov and Gymnasium No. 8 Director Igor Aleksandrovich Shelopukho.

On January 14, 2025, a meeting was held between the deputy of the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies, the Rector of VSMU Alexey Nikolaevich Chukanov and the work collective of the UE "Polymerkonstruktsiya".

Alexey Nikolaevich spoke about the progress of the election campaign for the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus, emphasizing the importance of active participation of citizens in this process and called on all voters to approach the choice consciously.

A job fair for the 5th-year students of the Pharmaceutical Faculty was held on January 14, 2025. The fair was attended by the Dean of the Pharmaceutical Faculty Valentina Kugach, the Deputy Dean Elena Serak, the representatives of all enterprises of the Pharmacy system, RUE BelLekoCenter, and the Gomel and Mogilev Region Offices of the State Forensic Examination Committee. V. Kugach acquainted those present with the main provisions of regulatory legal acts on distribution and referral to work. E. Serak spoke on the organization of the distribution procedure.

On January 14, 2025, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Industry, Energy, Transport, Communications and Digital Development of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Yuri Anatolyevich Panfilov and the VSMU workforce.
