Foreign students of VSMU at the exhibition "My Belarus"

On January 22, 2025, the first- and second-year students of the VSMU Faculty of Overseas Student’s Training together with their curators visited the exhibition of achievements of sovereign Belarus "My Belarus" at the international exhibition center "BelExpo".

Foreign students were able not only to learn a lot of new and interesting things about the achievements of the Republic of Belarus, but also to see its unique beauty, hear the enchanting sounds of Belarusian nature and even smell the aromas of Belarus.

Career guidance event "Targeted training fair"

On January 22, 2025, a career guidance event for the 11th-grade students of general secondary education establishments of Vitebsk, "Targeted training fair", was held at the State Educational Institution "Vitebsk City Center for Additional Education for Children and Youth".

The meeting with the graduates of educational establishments was attended by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Continuing Education of Vitebsk State Medical University Lyubov Orekhova, as well as the representatives of all higher educational establishments of Vitebsk. As part of the presentations and work of interactive platforms, the conditions, features and advantages of admission to higher education establishments on the terms of targeted training were discussed.

International cooperation with India

On January 22, 2025, a video conference was held between VSMU and the partner university from India, the Saveetha Institute of Technical and Medical Sciences.

The Representatives of the Indian university were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits. The Head of the International Relations Office, Elena Sharykhina, and the Head of the International Relations Department, Anna Pchelintseva, also took part in the negotiations.

On January 22, 2025, on the eve of the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus, a dialogue platform "Faculty of Medicine: achievements, ways and prospects of development" was held with the participation of the Rector Alexey Chukanov, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Natalya Konevalova, the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel Nikolay Dorofeev, the Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of Employees Alexander Myasoedov, the work collectives of the departments of general surgery, traumatology and orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology and neurosurgery, psychiatry and narcology, and the military department.
