Events

Visits of the VSMU administration to the internship bases and the first workplace of young specialists are regular and are conducted in order to assess the quality of professional training of personnel and provide comprehensive assistance (social, legal and other) to university graduates.

On September 19-20, 2024, a delegation from Vitebsk State Medical University took part in a visiting meeting of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the event "Day of Scientific Youth", which were held at the educational establishment "Baranovichi State University".

During the event the representatives of VSMU demonstrated the latest scientific developments, held master classes on providing first medical and dental care.

On September 23, 2024, as part of the "Freshman Month", a dialogue platform was held with the participation of the deputy head of the department for supervision of compliance with legislation in the troops of the Vitebsk region prosecutor's office, senior adviser of justice Metelitsa I.V. with first-year students of the medical faculty.

On September 19, 2024, a meeting was held between the first-year students of VSMU, living in dormitories No. 4, 5, 7, 8, and the senior district juvenile affairs inspector of the Oktyabrsky district administration of Vitebsk, police major Ekaterina Kurnevich, on the topic "Responsibility of minors for committing offenses." During the conversation the students were explained the main provisions of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus and the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
