Free Trial access to interactive educational products GEOTAR-Media

The library notifies that until June 30, test access to interactive educational products of GEOTAR-Media publishing house is open.
For access and use contact the Sector for information and electronic resources (Medical Library building, 3rd floor, room 303).

There is a free trial access to interactive digital teaching aids, placed in the Electronic Library System ‘Student's Consultant’ (https://www.studentlibrary.ru) open for VSMU. The aids are placed in the section ‘Digital teaching aids’. These resources have been developed by GEOTAR-Digital together with teachers from leading medical universities of the Russian Federation and are aimed at in-depth and visual learning of basic and clinical disciplines.

Teachers and students can use virtual simulators ‘Botkin’ and ‘Filatov’, where they can practice making diagnoses, choosing examinations and treating patients in therapeutic and paediatric practice. Also available are interactive atlases on histology, pathological anatomy (including pathological anatomy of the head and neck) with digital micropreparations that can completely replace a light microscope. In addition, access to the interactive teaching aid ISCULAP for studying the courses of disciplines ‘Propaedeutics of Children's Diseases’ and ‘Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases’ and produkts of the interactive platform MedMan for modelling medical manipulations is available.

All products are adapted to work from computers and mobile devices, support offline access and meet the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard.

To activate access you need to register on the site https://www.studentlibrary.ru from the IP-addresses of the university. After registration or if you have it, go to the section ‘Digital teaching aids’. Select the required textbook.
