On December 18, 2025, Mr. Rajesh Kumar, the Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of India in Belarus, paid a working visit to Vitebsk State Medical University. The visit was part of ongoing efforts to develop long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation between the university and Indian educational and scientific institutions.

The Vitebsk State Medical University team secured a convincing victory at the XIII International Olympiad on Normal Anatomy in Minsk. The strongest medical students competed for the championship among 13 teams.

On December 16, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted the republican scientific and practical conference with international participation titled "Military Medicine: History and Modernity."
