On August 16, 2024, the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation visited VSMU. The guests were welcomed by the Rector of VSMU Aleksey Nikolaevich Chukanov, the Vice-Rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work Denis Nikolaevich Lits and the Head of the International and Interregional Affairs Office Elena Vitalievna Sharykhina.

As part of the implementation of the Concept for the Development of Export of Educational Services, VSMU is actively working to promote educational services to foreign markets.

The university trains, specializes, and improves the qualifications of medical and pharmaceutical personnel arriving from near and far abroad.

The university's active work in developing the export of educational services has allowed it to achieve recognition and become a finalist of the prestigious Republican competition "Best Exporter of 2023".

A meeting between the Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work of VSMU Denis Lits and university graduates undergoing an internship at the healthcare institution "Vitebsk City Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care" was held.

On August 8-9, 2024, the administration of Vitebsk State Medical University, headed by the Rector of the University Alexey Chukanov, visited healthcare institutions in Brest, which are internship bases for VSMU graduates: Brest Regional Clinical Hospital, Brest Central City Hospital, Brest City Polyclinic No. 6, Brest Central Polyclinic, Brest Regional Maternity Hospital, Brest City Emergency Hospital, Brest Dental Polyclinic, Brest Central District Pharmacy No. 2.
