In order to carry out career guidance activities aimed at attracting well-prepared and motivated applicants for higher medical education, including for training on the conditions of targeted training, the teachers of the Departments of Biology and Chemistry of the Faculty of Pre-University Training of VSMU visited the graduating classes of general secondary education institutions of Vitebsk.

The 7th annual interuniversity conference of students,  residents and young scientists ‘Internal diseases at the pre-hospital stage. Geriatric syndromes in outpatient practice. Difficult patient’. was held at N.I. Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University.

Senior lecturer of the Department of General Medical Practice of VSMU Olga Muzyka with the report ‘Clinical masks of manifestation of late prosthetic endocarditis in elderly persons: complex analysis of a clinical case’ and the 5th year student Alexey Kuprienko with the report ‘Progression of chronic kidney disease in a comorbid patient’ took part in the conference.

On April 23, 2025, the 4th year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy visited the enterprise RUE ‘Belmedpreparaty’ within the framework of the Open Doors Day accompanied by the Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work of the Faculty of Pharmacy Evgeny Shabunin and the trainee teacher of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry Anna Efremova.

On April 23, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University is hosting the student patriotic forum #United_Deed_2.0.

The event united the most active and enterprising students of medical, pharmaceutical, dental, pediatric, and foreign citizens training faculties.

The First Republican Olympiad with international participation in anaesthesiology, resuscitation and emergency medicine ‘Operation “Rescue”: multidisciplinary challenge’ was held in Minsk from April 21 to 22, 2025.

More than 30 teams competed in the distance stage, only the strongest ones - 6 Belarusian teams and 4 teams from Russia - reached the finals.

Among the finalist teams was the team ‘Adrenalin’ of Vitebsk State Medical University.
