The event brought together more than 100 representatives of the student and working youth of the region. One of the most numerous at the forum was the delegation of the youth professional asset of the healthcare system, headed by Vladimir Plytkevich, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers organization. The industry was represented by 25 people, including students and staff of VSMU.

On April 10, 2026, the final of the V Republican contest of startup projects in the field of healthcare "MedicalStartup" took place.

Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University was represented by the projects of Olga Azarenko and Anna Antonysheva "Development and implementation of a screening method for sarcopenia detection" (scientific supervisor V.A. Prishchepenko), Vasily Kulagin "A tool for diagnosing and helping people with anxiety and depression" (scientific supervisor A.V. Shvayko) and a joint project with BSUIR, author from VSMU - Anatoly Demenkovets "Balance Plus diagnostic and developmental Complex".

On April 10, 2026, the Vitebsk State Medical University hosted a University Council dedicated to summarizing the activities of the university staff in 2025 and defining tasks for 2026.

On April 10, 2026, the 4th year team of the VSMU of Stomatological Faculty, consisting of students Ekaterina Legchilina and Kirill Novik, led by Anastasia Dubovets, senior lecturer at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics with a course in Faculty of Advanced Training and Staff Retraining, worthily represented our university at the international Olympiad of student professional skills in pediatric Dentistry, which is held annually at the Belarusian State Medical University.

As a result of the Olympiad, our students won diplomas of I and III degrees.
