December 3rd is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. In honor of this, a charity concert “Magic India” was held at the Boarding House for the elderly and disabled people with the participation of Sri Lankan and Indian students studying at the Overseas Students Training Faculty. 

In addition, the organizers of the event were Vitebsk Cultural Center, Charitable Foundation “Mission” and cafe “Shafran”. Students demonstrated dance and music, both group and solo performances. Dance groups “Indofusion” and “MixFeeds” showed modern trends, and the Sri Lankan folk dance “Kandian” especially captivated all the guests.

«Fresher’s Night» organised by Exorians (batch of 2027) to welcome Troizians (batch of 2028) into the VSMU family was held on 26^th of November 2022 at the Concert Hall, Palace of the Raliway Workers. 

VSMU students being members of the student scientific circle of the Chair of General, Physical and Colloidal Chemistry, Ibezim Praise Odiwonma and Eneh Favour Chigozirim, took part in the 5th International Student Environmental Congress StEC-2022, which was held on November 25-26, 2022. The congress was organized by the Faculty of Chemistry, the Research Institute for Physical Chemical Problems of the Belarusian State University and the team of the student project “Shadow Day BSU”.

On November 26, on Channel ONT there was the fourth qualifying concert-show of talents from Vitebsk region called “Star Way”. From several dozen applicants, the producers chose the best non-professional vocalists, and only 5 participants from the region demonstrated their vocal abilities on TV. On Saturday evening, many residents of Orsha and Vitebsk were watching with a sinking heart a bright performance of the creative duo of Marina Shitkova, the otorhinolaryngologist of the Central Clinic in Orsha and Devin Randeniya, a 5th-year student of Vitebsk State Medical University.
