On June 12, 2025, Olga Kasyan, the senior lecturer of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy with a course of FAT and PR, within the framework of the educational programme of advanced training of managers and specialists on the curriculum ‘Improving the quality of the educational process through the use of modern pedagogical technologies’ held a master class on ‘Formation of a favourable socio-psychological climate in the study group’.

The solemn event, during which the best enterprises, organisations, institutions and specialists were honoured according to the results of their work for the year 2024, took place on June 11, 2025, in the concert hall ‘Vitebsk’.

The certificate of inscription of Vitebsk State Medical University on the Board of Honour of Oktyabrsky district was handed over to the vice-rector for ideological and educational work of VSMU Dmitry Kuzhel by the head of administration of Oktyabrsky district Vladimir Belevich.

On the eve of the professional holiday - the Day of Medical Workers, June 11, 2025, a ceremony of honouring medical workers of the Vitebsk region was held in the cultural centre ‘Polotsk’.

Boris Androsyuk, the Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus, Vyacheslav Durnov, the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Mikhail Vishnevetsky, the Head of the Main Health Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Vladimir Plytkevich, the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Organisation of the BUHW, and others congratulated the medical workers on the holiday.

On the 11th of June 2025 in VSMU the regular meeting of the Rector of the University Alexey Chukanov, the administration of the University with the students of the 1st year of medical and dental faculties on actual aspects of the summer examination session was held.

Within the framework of the event the questions of preparation for the examination session, timely liquidation of academic debts on academic disciplines, observance of norms and requirements to the educational process were considered.

On June10, 2025, in Minsk the Republican seminar for vice-rectors on ideological and educational work of higher education establishments ‘Management of educational process: quality and efficiency’ was held under the guidance of the Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Ekaterina Petrutskaya.

Dmitry Kuzhel, the vice-rector for ideological and educational work of VSMU, took part in the seminar. Within the framework of the event the topical issues of improving the quality of educational work, introduction of modern methods and effective management of the processes of forming the world outlook of the student youth were discussed.
