As part of the Republican charity event "From the bottom of my heart"

As part of the Republican charity event "From the bottom of my heart" the representatives of the primary trade union organization of the employees of the Vitebsk State Medical University visited the former employee of the Department of Public Health and Healthcare, the Department of Organization and Economics of Pharmacy of the VSMU, a disabled person of the II group, Tatyana Leonidovna Petrishche. The guests warmly congratulated Tatyana Leonidovna on the New Year and Christmas holidays, and also presented memorable gifts.

Tatyana Leonidovna was touched by the attention and care shown to her during this festive period. She expressed sincere gratitude for the support and warm words.

The "From the bottom of my heart" campaign continues to give joy and support to those who especially need it, uniting people in an effort to make the world kinder and brighter.

Magical holiday of happiness and kindness

On January 11, 2025, with the support of the university administration and the trade union of VSMU employees, a visit to the Lyalka theater was organized for the pupils of the Vitebsk Regional Specialized Children's Home. The children received pleasant impressions and positive emotions from watching the play "Happy New Year, Good Dwarf!".

Supervisory hour with the study groups of FOST students with the participation of inspective officers of the Department of Internal Affairs of Vitebsk Pervomaysky and Oktyabrsky districts

On January 10, 2025, the Department of General and Clinical Biochemistry with the course of the Faculty of Continuing Education and Advanced Training of VSMU held a supervisory hour with the study groups of the 2nd-year students of FOST with the participation of the inspectors of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Pervomaysky and Oktyabrsky districts of Vitebsk.

The meeting discussed the need for students to comply with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, personal safety issues, rules of conduct during the election campaign and other issues related to the legal literacy of foreign citizens.

International cooperation. VSMU students are winners of the Dermatovenereology Olympiad in Smolensk

On January 10, 2025, the 2nd interuniversity Olympiad with international participation in dermatovenereology was held in Smolensk. A team of the 4th-year students of the VSMU Faculty of Medicine took part in the Olympiad: Alexandra Pushkarskaya, Andrey Kateryushkin, Polina Lapunova.

Precinct election commissions have started working at VSMU

Two polling stations for the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus have been established at VSMU, which began their work on January 10, 2025.

The Rector of VSMU Aleksey Chukanov visited the polling stations located at the university and got acquainted with the organization of their work. All conditions have been created at the polling stations for comfortable expression of the will of voters in accordance with the requirements of the electoral legislation of the Republic of Belarus.

International cooperation. VolGMU students studying at VSMU

On January 10, 2025, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Marina Fomina, the Head of the International Relations Department Anna Pchelintseva met with the students of the partner university Volgograd State Medical University Lidiya Solovieva and Elina Eremina, who studied at our university for a semester as part of the implementation of the cooperation agreement between VSMU and VolGMU.
