On June 12, 2025, the final of the republican stage of the military-applied game ‘Breakthrough’ took place.

8 strongest teams - winners of qualifying stages from all over the country met in the final of the competition.

The Students of VSMU have worthily represented the University, having won the 3rd place and having demonstrated excellent preparation, cohesion and will to win.

On June 12, 2025, a large-scale festive event dedicated to the Day of Medical Workers was held at the Palace of the Republic, uniting over 2,000 medical workers from all regions of Belarus.

The best workers of the industry were awarded by the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Government, the Council of the Republic and the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. The ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest "Doctor of the Year of the Republic of Belarus" was also held here.

On June 12, 2025, Olga Kasyan, the senior lecturer of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy with a course of FAT and PR, within the framework of the educational programme of advanced training of managers and specialists on the curriculum ‘Improving the quality of the educational process through the use of modern pedagogical technologies’ held a master class on ‘Formation of a favourable socio-psychological climate in the study group’.

The solemn event, during which the best enterprises, organisations, institutions and specialists were honoured according to the results of their work for the year 2024, took place on June 11, 2025, in the concert hall ‘Vitebsk’.

The certificate of inscription of Vitebsk State Medical University on the Board of Honour of Oktyabrsky district was handed over to the vice-rector for ideological and educational work of VSMU Dmitry Kuzhel by the head of administration of Oktyabrsky district Vladimir Belevich.
