On January 24, 2025, a career guidance excursion was held at VSMU for the students of grades 9-11 of general secondary education establishments of Polotsk.

The Deputy Dean of the Faculty of VSMU PUT Lyubov Orekhova presented to the children a presentation on the history, structure and activities of our university, and also emphasized the advantages and features of admission to a medical university, including on the terms of targeted training.

On January 23, 2025, on the eve of the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus, a dialogue platform "Faculty of Overseas Student’s Training: achievements, ways and prospects of development" was held with the participation of the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Natalia Konevalova, the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel Nikolai Dorofeev, and work collectives of the FOST departments.

On January 23, 2025, the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences is hosting an exhibition of scientific, technical and innovative achievements, timed to coincide with the Day of Belarusian Science.

The exhibition presents the developments of leading Belarusian organizations and universities of Belarus. Scientific achievements of VSMU are presented by the members of the Council of Young Scientists Olga Muzyka, the senior lecturer of the Department of General Medical Practice, Alexey Shvaiko, the assistant and postgraduate student of the Department of Public Health and Healthcare, Arina Lavrinovich, the lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages. Our university has a rich scientific history. And we continue the traditions of our teachers. Advanced developments in the field of laboratory diagnostics, such as test systems for identifying various pathogens and identifying their sensitivity to antibiotics, test systems for detecting SARS-CoV-2 RNA using the PCR method are in demand in the country and abroad.

On January 23, 2025, a career guidance event for students in grades 8-11 was held at the State Educational establishment "Secondary School No. 43 of Vitebsk named after M.P. Shmyrev" within the framework of the Republican project School of Active Citizen on the topic "Youth is the time to choose a profession".
