On December 20, 2024, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Republic of Belarus Alok Ranjan Jha visited VSMU. He was welcomed by the Rector of the University Alexey Chukanov, the Vice-Rector for International and Interregional Relations Denis Lits, the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel Nikolay Dorofeev, the Dean of the Faculty of Overseas Student’s Training Vyacheslav Pobyarzhin, the Head of the Department of International and Interregional Relations Elena Sharykhina, the Head of the Department of International Relations Anna Pchelintseva.

On December 19, 2024, as part of the charity event "Our Children", the Vitebsk Concert Hall hosted a regional New Year's ball with the participation of gifted and talented youth of the Vitebsk region. The participants of the ball were greeted by the chairman of the regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov.

The evening, which was attended by 10 students of the VSMU, was held in a "star" theme.

As part of the program of events of the festive week dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the VSMU Faculty of Pharmacy, the opening of the exhibition "Chemical Laboratory: Yesterday and Today" took place. The exhibition includes unique exhibits demonstrating the development of chemical research and technology.

On December 19, 2024, in the student center of VSMU, as part of the Single Information Day "Belarus - the Country of Peace and Harmony", a meeting was held between the representatives of the university student council, student councils of dormitories, the public organization "Belaya Rus" and the vice-rector for academic work of the Vitebsk Theological Seminary, Archpriest Dmitry Savich.
