On December 12, 2024, the Rector of the University, member of the Expert Council on Healthcare under the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the CIS Alexey Chukanov, during the next meeting of the Expert Council dedicated to the topic of "Development of national evidence bases in healthcare of the CIS member states in the context of digital transformation of public administration systems", held at the headquarters of the IPA CIS (St. Petersburg), took an active part in the discussion of this topic, which is relevant for our healthcare system. It was emphasized that in the medical education system of our country, the Ministry of Health pays special attention to the development of digital transformation of medicine as a promising direction for improving the quality of medical care.

The Cinema House hosted a screening of one of the most anticipated films of the year - "Black Castle". The premiere of the film, which took place on December 12, 2024, was attended by the administration, staff and students of VSMU.

The visit to the film screening took place thanks to the support of the administration, the primary trade union organization of the university staff and students.

On December 11, 2024, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits and the Head of the International Relations Department Anna Pchelintseva held online negotiations with the management of the Beijing Association "Henan Jincheng International Education Information Co."

During the negotiations, the issues of creating joint training programs with medical universities of China in the field of medicine and pharmacy were discussed. The parties agreed on cooperation and the conclusion of a corresponding agreement.

As part of the implementation of the excursion tour plan to introduce students to the historical and cultural sights of the Republic of Belarus "I love my Motherland with the pure name Belarus", on December 11, the university students visited the city of Orsha.
