On June 16, 2026, a yoga master class dedicated to the International Yoga Day was held in the large gym of VSMU. The event was initiated by the Embassy of the Republic of India in Belarus.

The organizers provided the necessary equipment, and the classes were conducted by a qualified coach who adapted the program to any level of training. The participants were not only Belarusian and foreign students, but also university staff.

On June 16, 2026, in order to assess the level of formation of professional competencies among graduates, the leadership of Vitebsk State Medical University visited one of the clinical bases of the university - Vitebsk Regional Clinical Hospital.

On June 16, 2026, 5th year students will begin the second stage of the integrated state examination in the specialty "Pharmacy". During this stage, future pharmacists will demonstrate the level of theoretical training during an oral interview.

On the eve of the Day of Medical Workers, a solemn event dedicated to the professional holiday was held at the VSMU Clinic.

Alexey Chukanov, Rector of VSMU, and Natalia Alekhna, Chief Physician of the Clinic, expressed warm words of appreciation to the staff.

VSMU students took an active part in the World Blood Donor Day campaign. As future medical professionals, they are deeply aware of the value of donation. After all, blood cannot be bought at a pharmacy, and one donation can save up to three human lives. People who suffer from accidents, cancer patients, and women in labor need blood every day.
