On December 19, a methodological meeting of study group curators took place, attended by Dmitry Kuzhel, Vice-Rector of Ideological and Educational Work; Lyudmila Somova, Head of the Department of Defense; Inna Matsuk, Methodologist; and Ksenia Berezovskaya, Operations Officer of the Department of Combating Cybercrime in the Oktyabrsky District of Vitebsk.

As part of the cooperation agreement with Pskov State University and based on VSMU's membership in the "Russian-Belarusian University Union “TOGETHER”" Consortium, medical students from Pskov State University visited VSMU. This event marked an important milestone in the expansion of international collaboration between educational institutions of the two countries.

On December 18, 2025, a Unified Information Day was held at the Faculty of Pediatrics, dedicated to the most important national event — the All-Belarusian National Assembly.

The staff, students, and doctors of the Faculty of Preparatory Training Course were addressed by Deputy Dean Ivan Martinkevich and representatives of the faculty departments.

A live broadcast of the second session of the VII All-Belarusian National Assembly was organized across all academic buildings, structural divisions, and student dormitories of VSMU.

Students and staff followed the President’s Address with great interest, noting its strategic significance, the clarity of the tasks outlined for the country's development, and feeling personally involved in discussing the key issues of Belarus’s socio-economic and socio-political life.

On December 17, 2025, the IV Christmas Intellectual Games Tournament was held among employees of healthcare institutions in Vitebsk. The team from VSMU, "People in White," participated in the competition.

A total of eight teams from various healthcare institutions in Vitebsk took part. All participants demonstrated their erudition and ingenuity by answering questions across seven rounds.
