The students and staff of the faculty of overseas student’s training of VSMU visited the exhibition of achievements "My Belarus".

The members of the delegation got acquainted with the achievements of our country in various fields - medicine, science, production, agriculture, culture, sports and other areas.

On January 16-17, 2025, the regional youth forum "Time of Your Opportunities" was held in Vitebsk, in which the trainee teachers of VSMU Anna Efremova and Yuri Pavlov took part.

On the first day of the forum the participants enjoyed visiting the sections "Healthcare" and "Sports and Tourism". The base for the section on health care was the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Center for Medical Rehabilitation for the Disabled and Veterans of Military Operations in Other Countries, where the participants got acquainted with the rehabilitation room, the multifactor relaxation room, and the center of traditional Chinese medicine.

On January 16, 2025, an extended meeting of the Council of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel was held with the participation of the representatives of the university administration: the First Vice-Rector Alina Nikolaevna Shchupakova, the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel Nikolai Borisovich Dorofeev, the Chairman of the Trade Union of Employees Alexander Mikhailovich Myasoedov. The meeting of the Council was also attended by the heads and employees of the departments of the faculty.

On January 17, 2025, on the eve of the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus, a meeting was held at the VSMU Voter Center between the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Nikolaevich Lits and the staff of the Department of International and Interregional Relations, the Editorial and Publishing Printing Center of VSMU.

On January 17, 2026, the retirement ceremony for the Head of the Industrial Internship Department, Valeria Vladimirovna Olshannikova, took place.

The Rector of the University, Aleksey Chukanov, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Natalya Konevalova, the staff of the dean's offices, and colleagues gathered in the conference hall of the main academic building to express their gratitude to Valeria Vladimirovna for her many years of conscientious work for the benefit of the Vitebsk State Medical University, to thank her for their joint work, and to wish her many years of an active life full of joyful events in her new status.
