On October 16, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted a sports and entertainment event for the children of employees, which has become a tradition as part of the "Week of Parental Love." The celebration was organized by the staff trade union committee in collaboration with the university administration.

Young participants eagerly competed in relay races, demonstrating their strength, agility, and ingenuity through various team games and competitions. Parents actively supported their children, and some even participated in relay races themselves.

On October 16, 2025, VSMU held a Single Information Day on the topic: "The Role of Family Values in Modern Society." As part of this event, Denis Lits, Vice-Rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work, met with university students.

During the discussion, participants explored why the family remains the foundation not only for the individual but also for society as a whole.

On October 15, as part of the Week of Parental Love, a conversation titled "Me and My Family – Without Profanity" was held with students of VSMU by Archpriest Sergiy Zakharov, rector of the Holy Dormition Church in Vitebsk. Archpriest Sergiy discussed the history of the holidays of the Intercession of the Virgin and Mother’s Day, highlighting their significance in the spiritual, moral, and family education of young people.

On October 16, 2025, a videoconference was held with the leadership of the Changchun Institute of International Commerce. The Chinese colleagues were greeted by Denis Lits, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work; Elena Sharykhina, Head of the Department of International and Interregional Relations; and Anna Pchelintseva, Head of the Department of International Relations.

On October 15, 2025, coinciding with the Day of Pharmaceutical and Microbiological Industry Workers, a dialogue platform titled "History of Pharmaceutical Production in the Republic of Belarus" was held in the conference hall of the morphological building at VSMU. The event was organized within the framework of the scientific and educational cluster "Medicine and Pharmacy - Innovative Projects" and was attended by more than a hundred participants.
