On April 22, 2025, in VSMU there was held an event ‘Everyone wrote the history of Victory’ dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, organised by the Department of Pathological Physiology and Military Department with the participation of military-patriotic club and 103rd separate Guards Airborne Brigade.

The Students and staff of the department told about the participation of their relatives in the approaching Victory, recited poems and sang songs of the war years.

On April 22, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University held a meeting for the first-year students of the faculty of overseas student’s training studying in English.

The event was held with the participation of an inspector of the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Internal Affairs Office of the Pervomaisky District Administration of Vitebsk and was organised to improve the legal literacy of foreign students.

On April 21, 2025, a videoconference between VSMU and Chinese educational association Beijing FD International Education Technology Co., Ltd (FD EDU) took place. The event was dedicated to the development of cooperation and creation of joint educational programmes with Taizhou educational institutions.

The Chinese representatives were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organisational and Legal Work Lits Denis. Also the Head of the Office of International and Interregional Relations Sharykhina Elena and the Head of the Department of International Relations Pchelintseva Anna took part in the negotiations.

On April 22, 2025, as part of the patriotic action of VSMU "Star of Memory" for the improvement of burial sites and monuments located on the map of Vitebsk (Vitebsk region) in the form of a "star", as well as the Year of Improvement and the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the university volunteers took part in restoring order on the territory of the memorial to the Komsomol underground fighters (Smolenskaya square).

The Simulation and Attestation Center of VSMU and the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining in Pedagogy and Psychology have launched the implementation of the training course "First Aid" (for the population).

It is planned to train more than 250 trainees – specialists of the Republican Unitary Enterprise "Vitebsk Gas", the limited liability company "Production Association "Energokomplekt" and other categories of citizens.
