Students of the Faculty of Pharmacy Visited the Vitebsk Enterprise "Pharmacia"

On September 25, 2025, as part of the celebration of World Pharmacist Day, a group of fifth-year pharmacy students from VSMU, guided by the Dean’s Deputy Elena Serak, visited the Vitebsk State Enterprise "Pharmacia."

The visit included a seminar-review tour where the students were warmly welcomed by the enterprise’s General Director, Ekaterina Borisyevich. Ekaterina Stanislavovna reminded the attendees of the vital role pharmacists play in achieving effective pharmacotherapy results and improving patients' quality of life. She emphasized that pharmacists are the most accessible healthcare professionals and are highly trusted by the population.

On September 25, 2025, the International Forum on a Healthy Lifestyle and the XII Republican Universal Exhibition-Fair "Live Healthy" took place in Orsha.

Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2, Vera Potapova, actively participated in the section titled "Disease Prevention in Adults and Children: Modern Approaches." She presented reports on "Immunoprophylaxis of Respiratory Infectious Diseases" and "Monitoring and Nutrition of Preterm Infants in Outpatient Settings."

On September 25, on World Pharmacist Day, the Faculty of Pharmacy at VSMU hosted a themed interactive event for students and university staff. The Rector of VSMU, Alexei Chukanov, also took part in the event, joining in solving pharmaceutical puzzles.

VSMU is Expanding its Career Guidance Activities in Collaboration with Educational Institutions

On September 25, 2025, a cooperation agreement was signed between Vitebsk State Medical University and Gorbovich Secondary School.

The subject of the agreement is the joint activities of the parties in organizing and operating a specialized class with a medical focus, as well as achieving common goals such as improving the quality of education, fostering interaction, exchanging experience, organizing career guidance activities with students, and conducting joint scientific and educational events.
