On April 16, 2026, students of the Pharmaceutical Faculty of VSMU, led by the Secretary of the Public Association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" of our University, took part in the presentation of the project "Volgograd-Vitebsk: memory of generations", the main theme of which is perpetuating the memory of the participants of the Battle of Stalingrad and the Belarusian offensive operation "Bagration".

On April 13, 2026, within the framework of the Festival of Youth Creativity "Student Spring - 2026" among the institutions of higher education of the city of Vitebsk, the teams of the VSMU student club presented the creative program "Time for Concrete Deeds".

The University continues to work on the implementation of the project "Family and spiritual and moral traditions of Belarus". During the week, VSMU students presented the following presentations during curatorial hours: "Preservation of the cultural heritage of Belarus" (Anna Vysotskaya, 2nd-year student of the General Medicine Faculty), "Family education as the basis of a strong state" (2nd-year student of the Pharmaceutical Faculty of the 1st group), "Family tree. The succession of generations" (Vladimir Kharlenok, 2nd-year student of the Pediatrics Faculty).

The event brought together more than 100 representatives of the student and working youth of the region. One of the most numerous at the forum was the delegation of the youth professional asset of the healthcare system, headed by Vladimir Plytkevich, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers organization. The industry was represented by 25 people, including students and staff of VSMU.

On April 10, 2026, the final of the V Republican contest of startup projects in the field of healthcare "MedicalStartup" took place.

Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University was represented by the projects of Olga Azarenko and Anna Antonysheva "Development and implementation of a screening method for sarcopenia detection" (scientific supervisor V.A. Prishchepenko), Vasily Kulagin "A tool for diagnosing and helping people with anxiety and depression" (scientific supervisor A.V. Shvayko) and a joint project with BSUIR, author from VSMU - Anatoly Demenkovets "Balance Plus diagnostic and developmental Complex".
