On October 6, 2025, the administration of Vitebsk State Medical University, led by Rector Alexey Chukanov, held a systematic meeting with young specialists and interns from healthcare institutions in Gomel and Mozyr.

Angelina Gizovskaya, a student of the Stomatological Faculty at VSMU, took 1st place at the international boxing tournament held in memory of four-time USSR champion O. G. Korotaev, which took place in Moscow from September 29 to October 5.

Angelina is a master of sports and trains under the guidance of Leonid Bolshakov, Head of the Department of Physical Education at VSMU.

Congratulations to our champion on her outstanding performance! Keep up the great work, VSMU!

On October 3–4, Minsk hosted the Championship of the Republic of Belarus in judo, held as part of the V.N. Senkevich Cup program, among youth under 23 years of age. Daria Mishuto, a student of the General Medicine Faculty of VSMU, became the winner in the over 78 kg weight category.

Congratulations to Daria on her successful performance, and we wish her continued success in reaching new sports heights!

On October 4, members of the students' trade union committee, together with students from Faculty of Overseas Students Training and volunteers of the "Kind Heart" detachment, presented a literary and musical program for residents of the Vitebsk Social Boarding House on Dvina, dedicated to the Senior Citizens' Day.

The program included songs, poems, and lively dances performed by the bands "Indofusion" from India and "Mixfeeds" from Sri Lanka. The enchanting flute melodies touched the hearts of everyone present. The volunteers of the "Kind Heart" detachment invited everyone to participate in a musical lottery featuring songs that have long been loved by the older generation.

From September 29 to October 3, 2025, the Youth Educational Career Forum was held in Smolensk. Denis Dashko, a third-year student of the General Medicine Faculty, proudly represented our country and, in particular, VSMU.

The forum brought together active and motivated young people eager to develop themselves and explore new opportunities for professional growth.
