On July 1, 2025, the Palace of the Republic (Minsk) hosted a solemn meeting and a festive concert of artists «Golas Rodnay Zyamli» dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus.

The VSMU staff also took part in the event as part of the Vitebsk Region delegation.

On June 30, 2025, the unique historical, educational and socio-patriotic project "Victory Train", which has been implemented by the Belarusian Railway in cooperation with Russian Railways since 2021, stopped for two days in Vitebsk. The train consists of 12 cars, 10 of which are exhibition cars, which represent the transition from one historical episode to another: the pre—war years - the Great Patriotic War — Victory. Together with the heroes of the exhibition its visitors "walk the path from Gomel to Moscow, from Stalingrad to Berlin".

For the second year VSMU volunteer students have been accompanying visitors and participants of the project (guided tours and monitoring of compliance with security measures). On July 1, Alexey Chukanov, the Rector of the University, and Dmitry Kuzhel, the Vice-rector for Ideological and Educational Work, visited the mobile museum "Victory Train".

On June 20, 2025, at the Palace of Independence, the Head of State Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko presented state awards to the students and staff of higher educational institutions of the country. Irina Shchurok, the Associate Professor of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology with a course in Advanced Training and Retraining, was awarded the gratitude of the President of the Republic of Belarus for fruitful scientific and pedagogical activities, significant personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists and the development of creative abilities of talented youth.

On June 28-29, 2025, the XXXI International Song and Music Festival "Dnieper Voices in Dubrovno" was held, which was attended by the dance group of VSMU "Mixfeeds". Every year, the organizers of the festival invite teams from different parts of the World so that the residents and participants could get acquainted with the culture of different countries. This year, Georgia, Sri Lanka, and Tatarstan became the guests of the festival.

The Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining in Pedagogy and Psychology conducted advanced training of the teaching staff in teaching methods of specialized disciplines. On June 27, 2025, the students who have mastered the content of educational programs for advanced training of managers and specialists in the content and methods of teaching subjects of the specialty "Pharmacy" and morphological disciplines successfully passed the final certification. The students highly appreciated the level of training organization, the relevance and practical significance of these educational programs.
