On the eve of the Children's Day the students of the Paediatrics Faculty of VSMU together with the Head of the Department of Paediatrics №1 Elena Kosenkova visited Vitebsk Regional Specialised Children's Home.

The future paediatricians gave the children not only the charitable help collected by the staff and students of the departments of paediatrics №1 and №2, but also the most valuable thing - their attention and warmth of heart.

Vasily Kulagin, a 2nd year student of VSMU, represented the University in the final of the II Republican Contest of Youth Analytical Projects with the work ‘Resource potential of youth in the development of the state’.

The leaders of the project were the vice-rector on international relations, organisational and legal work Lits D.N. and the head of department of public health and public health care with a course of FAT and PR of VSMU, professor Glushanko V.S.

May 31, 2025, Open Doors Day was held at Vitebsk State Medical University.

During the event in the welcoming speech of the University Rector the main achievements of VSMU and priority directions of medical science were announced, and wishes of success to applicants in achieving their goals were expressed.

May 30, 2025, the deputy of Vitebsk City Council of Deputies, the rector of VSMU Aleksey Nikolaevich Chukanov visited Vitebsk Regional Specialised Children's Home and took part in the event dedicated to the Children's Day.

Aleksey Nikolaevich warmly congratulated the inmates and staff of the Children's Home on the upcoming holiday, noting the importance of support and attention to each child.

May 28, 2025, the students of the 1st year of the FOST accompanied by supervisors of the study groups visited the exhibition "Road to Victory", which is held in Minsk International Exhibition Centre "BelExpo".
