The programme of the International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Vitebsk Spring 2025: Innovations in Allergology and Immunology’ was very rich: speakers from 11 countries took part in 6 sections on different areas of clinical immunology and allergology, 88 oral reports were delivered, 21 papers took part in the competition of researchers, 9 student papers in the competition ‘Clinical Case’

On May 6-7, 2025, within the framework of implementation of measures of ‘Roadmap of scientific and educational cooperation of higher education and health care institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2023-2026’ the Dean of Paediatrics Faculty of VSMU Tatyana Ryabova took part in the II International Congress ‘Paediatrics without borders - 2025’ in the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent.

On May 15, 2025, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted the evening of guitar music ‘Songs of Winners’ dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The event was attended by the Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov, the University administration, the teachers and students, the members of the military-patriotic club ‘I Serve the Fatherland’.

On May 15, 2025, in the Cinema House there was a screening of the feature-documentary film ‘Mum's Letter’, timed to the Family Day

Before the film screening, the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Vladimirovich Demidov addressed the audience with a congratulatory speech, especially emphasising the value of family in the modern world.

The students and employees of VSMU took part in the viewing of the film.

The regional stage of the competition “Breakthrough” was held on May 15, 2025, on the basis of the 103rd Vitebsk separate guard airborne brigade and gathered 5 teams from the universities of Vitebsk.

The participants had to pass five tests: “Assault strip”, ‘Sniper's range’, ‘Tactical shooting’, ‘Unmanned aerial vehicle operator’ and ‘Intellectual tournament’.
