Happy birthday to VSMU from the rector of the University
On October 31, a scientific and practical seminar titled "Arterial Hypertension and Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases: Day of Practice-Oriented Training for Students and Doctors" was held at the simulation and certification center of VSMU.
A highlight was the round table "Unresolved Issues of Hypertension," where leading experts from Belarus, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan shared their impressions of the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Hypertension and Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases," held on October 30. They discussed the most advanced methods of combating cardiovascular diseases and agreed on further cooperation.
Vladimir Albertovich Lollini, Professor of the Department of Hospital Therapy and Cardiology with a Course in FPC and PC at VSMU, took the floor, conducting a master class titled "Difficult Patient: Possibilities for Arterial Hypertension."
Viktor V. Rednenko, Head of the Simulation and Certification Center at VSMU, demonstrated the center’s capabilities in practice-oriented training. Alexander Ruslanovich Prudnikov and Anna Dmitrievna Kozlova, teachers of the department, led a master class on emergency medical care for hypertensive crises. Afterward, all seminar participants had the opportunity to practice their skills on specialized mannequins.
The seminar was attended by over 100 doctors from various specialties, as well as delegates from Russia and Kyrgyzstan. Participants noted the importance of conducting practice-oriented seminars in cardiology.
