The university hosted a meeting with students who plan to engage themselves with science in the future. The event was organized by the Student Council of the education quality of VSMU.

There was a lecture, with the information about levels of higher education, about that how to obtain qualification categories and scientific degrees in medicine, what advantages a scientific degree provides. The lecturers were VSMU students: Yana Kaznovetskaya, Ekaterina Kovaleva and Natalia Gaponko.

The annual table tennis tournament was held in hostel No. 7 of VSMU. University students are active participants in this sport, because table tennis is a good way to test the speed of thinking and coordinated physical work.

The referee of the tournament, Kovalevsky Artem, a 5th-year student of the General Medicine Faculty, closely followed the course of the game and at the end announced the winner – a 6th-year student of the General Medicine Faculty, Kirill Artemchik.

The Student Council and the hostel administration sincerely congratulate Kirill on his well-deserved victory! Keep up the good work!

From April 6 to April 8, 2022, with the participation of medical students from the Higher Educational Establishments of the Republic of Belarus there were swimming competitions which were held in Gomel. 

The VSMU team took the second place in the team calculation, having taken two 1st, six 2nd and three 3rd places in the individual championship, as well as 2nd place in the combined relay, and 3rd in the freestyle relay. 

“The Sinhala and Tamil new year” was celebrated by the Sri Lankan students in VSMU on Sunday, the 10th of April. It was organized by The SLMSU of VSMU. It comprised of both, an outdoor and indoor event as usual.

On March 31, in Vitebsk State medical University, the final distribution of graduates of the medical and pharmaceutical faculties took place.  The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus  Cherednichenko Dmitry Vladimirovich.

The recently created VSMU media center, which brought together Belarusian and foreign students, invited Dmitry Vladimirovich for a short interview.  Dmitry Vladimirovich held a conversation in an informal setting and answered all the questions of the media center.
