On November 22, 2023, as part of the republican action “Don’t waste your life”, organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, a meeting of the 1st year students with the senior inspector of the propaganda and public interaction sector of the Vitebsk City Department of Emergency Situations Anna Basalai and inspector Yulia Pankova took place at VSMU.

In order to expand cooperation with Chinese establishments of higher education, on November 21-22, 2023, the Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Establishments of the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China was held in Minsk. Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov has taken part in the Forum. Within the framework of the Forum an agreement was signed on the creation of the Chinese-Belarusian Association of Universities, of which VSMU became a member.

Grodno State University named after Yanka Kupala invites creative, proactive youth to take part in the IV International Competition of Media Projects “Student Youth in the Modern World”, which is held in accordance with the Work Plan of Actions for the Development of Cooperation in the Field of Education until the end of the year between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Education Russian Federation, and will take place on February 16, 2024.

The student medical team of VSMU “Heroes of Our Time” named after Hero of the Soviet Union Pavel Vladimirovich Nesterovich at the closing of the “Third Labor Semester-2023” was recognized as the best and awarded with certificates and prizes.
