Opening of the exhibition “Native Spaces”

On November 21, 2023, the opening of the personal exhibition of artistic works “Native Spaces” by the 2nd year student of the Faculty of Pharmacy Alina Yashkina took place as part of the festival “Student Autumn of VSMU-2023”. Alina is a participant and diploma winner of the XXIII International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Student Medical Science of the XXI Century”, the All-Russian Arts Festival of Medical Students in Nizhny Novgorod. Alina put her feelings and wonderful autumn mood into her creative works and dedicated them to her native land.

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran visited VSMU

On November 21, 2023, the Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University was visited by the delegation of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Belarus, headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Belarus, Mr. Alireza Sanei.

Vitebsk State Medical University became a member of the Consortium “University Russian-Belarusian Union “Together”

The First Vice-Rector of Vitebsk State Medical University Alina Shchupakova and the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits took part in the “Bridges of Friendship” project in the city of Pskov with the aim of developing relations between higher educational establishments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus and signed an agreement on the entry of Vitebsk State Medical University in the Consortium “University Russian-Belarusian Union “Together”.

Event "Fresher's night"

The traditional student initiation event “Fresher's night” took place on November 19, 2023, at the Railwaymen's Palace of Culture, organized by the 2nd year students of the Sri Lankan community. After the defile, the first-year students demonstrated their talents by performing bright, incendiary numbers, which students and visiting teachers from different departments watched with pleasure. This year's event was called "Estrella", which means "Star".

The VSMU women's basketball team took 2nd place in the preliminary stage of the Republican Universiade 2023/2024

The VSMU women's basketball team took the second place in the preliminary stage of the Republican Universiade 2023/2024 in group "3B" and advanced to the next round of the competition.

Congratulations to our team and coach Oleg Nekhaichik on their successful performance in the Republic tournament.
