On February 11, 2025, darts competitions were held as part of the year-round Spartakiad among teams of dormitories of secondary specialized and higher education institutions of the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk.
According to the results of the sports competitions, the VSMU team took the1st place.
The team included: Zhilich Andrey (6th MF), Kapitonov Ilya (4th MF), Kayukalo Valeria (5th MF).
On February 11, 2025, the faculty of pre-university training of VSMU held a career guidance excursion for the 9th grade students of the State Educational Establishment "Secondary School No. 5 of Vitebsk named after G.I. Bogomazov", during which the schoolchildren got acquainted with the basic principles of making various types of anatomical preparations, the structural features of the human body.
Also during the excursion, the head of the Department of Human Anatomy Tesfaye Wolde Asfaw emphasized the importance of professional training of future specialists in the process of studying at a medical university, where one of the key positions is given to the study of human anatomy.
On February 10, 2025, a video conference was held between VSMU and the Chinese educational association Beijing FD International Education Technology Co., Ltd (FD EDU).
The Chinese representatives were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits. The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Valentina Kugach, the Head of the Office of International and Interregional Relations Elena Sharykhina and the Head of the Department of International Relations Anna Pchelintseva also took part in the negotiations.
On February 10, 2025, the foreign students of the VSMU of the 2nd-4th years attended master classes on painting plates and clay modeling. Under the guidance of the center's methodologists, the students actively joined the creative process, and its result was real small masterpieces, which expressed an aesthetic attitude to the diversity and beauty of the surrounding world.
On February 7, 2025, the students of the 1-3 courses of the VSMU faculty of overseas student’s training, together with the curators of departments of general and clinical biochemistry with a FAT and PR course, general and organic chemistry, as well as foreign languages, visited the Ilya Efimovich Repin Museum.
Each hall of the estate told visitors its story, and works of art presented in the museum aroused a keen interest and admiration.
