On January 15, 2025, training of BRYU volunteers in first aid skills was held at the simulation and certification center of VSMU, who will be on duty at polling stations during the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus.

The volunteers underwent theoretical and practical training, including practicing cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills, providing assistance in case of injuries and other emergency conditions.

On January 15, 2025, traditionally, the experimental round of the third stage of the Republican Olympiad in the subject "Chemistry" for students of grades 9-11 of general secondary education institutions of the Vitebsk region was held at the Department of General and Organic Chemistry of VSMU.

VSMU teachers and laboratory assistants of the Department of General and Organic Chemistry under the guidance of the head of the department Zinaida Kuntsevich took an active part in organizing and holding the Olympiad.

On January 15, 2025, a ceremonial signing of a cooperation agreement between the educational establishment "Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University" and the state educational establishment "Vitebsk Gymnasium No. 8" took place.

The document was signed by the VSMU Rector Alexey Nikolaevich Chukanov and Gymnasium No. 8 Director Igor Aleksandrovich Shelopukho.

On January 14, 2025, a meeting was held between the deputy of the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies, the Rector of VSMU Alexey Nikolaevich Chukanov and the work collective of the UE "Polymerkonstruktsiya".

Alexey Nikolaevich spoke about the progress of the election campaign for the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus, emphasizing the importance of active participation of citizens in this process and called on all voters to approach the choice consciously.
