konkurs pesni 01On December 5, 2024, the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic hosted a military-patriotic song contest-concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and the 3rd anniversary of the formation of the military-patriotic Club of VSMU "I Serve the Fatherland".

Students of all courses and faculties, university staff and their family members took part in the contest.

meet deputat 01On December 5, 2024, a meeting was held between the Deputy of the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies, the Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov and the staff of the healthcare institution "Vitebsk Regional Clinical Cardiology Center".

The meeting place was not chosen by chance, because the achievements of domestic medicine in the field of cardiology are in many ways examples that we should rightfully be proud of.

Regional training seminar "Rational feeding of newborns"

novor_deti 01On December 5, 2024, at the Vitebsk Regional Children's Clinical Center, a regional training seminar "Rational feeding of newborns" was held in the lecture hall of the pediatric faculty for obstetricians-gynecologists, neonatologists, pediatricians and general practitioners. The seminar was organized with the active participation of the staff of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2 with the course of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Personnel Retraining of the VSMU.

Acquaintance with history and culture: the VSMU students' excursion to Ushachy district

ushaci 01On December 4, 2024, the VSMU students visited one of the picturesque districts of the Vitebsk region - Ushachy, where they visited the Museum of People's Glory named after the Hero of the Soviet Union V.E. Lobank, dedicated to the heroic Ushachy partisan zone, as well as the memorial complex "Breakthrough".

District Ushachy is the small homeland of the writer Vasil Bykov, poets Ryhor Borodulin and Petrus Brovka, which became a source of inspiration for their work.
