On September 27, 2026, VSMU students held a conversation with Priest Boris Slutsky at the Holy Protection Cathedral in Vitebsk.

Priest Boris Slutsky spoke about the restoration of the Protection Cathedral, the sacred objects kept in the church, and the significance of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.

On September 28, 2026, a ceremonial event dedicated to the renewal of the VSMU Student Honor Board, “Proud of by the University,” was held at Vitebsk State Medical University.

This tradition has existed at the university since 2023. The Honor Board was established to recognize students who have achieved outstanding success in academic, scientific, sports, creative, and public activities. It includes winners and prize-winners of international and national Olympiads and competitions, as well as students whose work has contributed to the development of the university.

Elena Asiryan, Vice-Rector for Research at VSMU, and Angelina Kuzmenkova, Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics with a course in Advanced Training and Professional Development, took part in the First Forum of Women Scientists, “The Role of Women in Science and Education.”

As part of the Unified Safety Day, meetings were held for first- and second-year students of the Faculty of Overseas Students Training, as well as for students of the Turkmen community, with representatives of the Department of Citizenship and Migration, the Department for Drug Control and Combating Human Trafficking, the Department for Combating Cybercrime, and the State Automobile Inspectorate.

As part of the opening of the Department of Pediatrics branch, a ceremony was held to sign a mutual cooperation agreement between Vitebsk State Medical University and the Mogilev Regional Children's Hospital.

The consolidation of efforts and unity of strategic goals are intended to ensure sustainable development in practical healthcare and the training of qualified professionals.
