A cooperation agreement has been signed between Vitebsk State Medical University, represented by Rector Alexey Chukhanov, and the Central Scientific Research Institute of Healthcare Organization and Informatization of the Russian Ministry of Health ("CNIIOIZ"), represented by Director Olga Kobyakova.

On September 9, 2025, the university clinic of Vitebsk State Medical University was visited by Vyacheslav Viktorovich Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
The purpose of his visit was to familiarize himself with the organization of the educational process and the system of practical training for future medical professionals. During the meeting, special attention was paid to the issue of practice-oriented education — a key requirement emphasized by the management for modern training programs.
Approximately fifty students and staff members of VSMU participated in the excursion route titled “Restored Churches of Vitebsk City” as part of the innovative project “Restoration of Churches in Vitebsk Region.” The project includes guided tours of churches in Vitebsk and the surrounding area, open dialogues, interactive educational activities, charity events, photo exhibitions, and displays of student artwork.
On September 7, 2025, the primary trade union organization of VSMU staff organized a diverse sightseeing trip along the route Vitebsk – Verkhnedvinsk – Osvee – Sarya. The tour, titled "The Riches of the Lake Land," fully lived up to its name, providing participants with a multitude of vivid impressions.
Travelers visited the Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory, where they observed the full production cycle and sampled a variety of cheeses while learning the history and secrets behind each variety.
