On September 24, 2026, as part of the Unified Safety Day held in our country, Vitebsk State Medical University conducted a series of activities aimed at developing a culture of safe behavior among students and staff, as well as practicing practical skills for responding to emergency situations.

On September 22, 2026, Vitebsk State Medical University became the venue for a meaningful open dialogue: Yuri Anatolyevich Panfilov, Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Industry, Energy, Transport, Communications and Digital Development of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, met with university students and staff.

A large-scale sports and youth celebration officially launching the 2026/27 Republican Universiade and Republican Spartakiad for college students took place on September 19 at the venue near the Palace of Sports in Minsk.

The VSMU team took part in the opening ceremony and in the athletics race “On Your Marks, Young People!”.

On September 18, 2026, a two-day cycle tour for University staff was launched in honour of the significant holiday for every Belarusian — Unity Day.

On Unity Day, the large-scale republican forum “Youth. Belarus. Future” is being held in Minsk. It is the culmination of a major unity marathon that brought together cities and towns across the country ahead of the holiday.
