June 7, 2025, VSMU students living in the University dormitories, under the guidance of dormitory tutors Dyagileva Rina and Shepovalova Svetlana visited the exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

On the 4th of June 2025 the students of VSMU together with deputy deans on ideological and educational work took part in the presentation of the film of the TV and Radio Company ‘Vitebsk’ ‘Spaso-Eufrosinievsky Monastery, 900 years later’.

The film was presented by the candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Denis Yurchak and journalists, presenters of TV and Radio Company ‘Vitebsk’ Ivan Panchenko and Sergei Markov.

On the 6th of June in Vitebsk there were held regional competitions on cycling among health care workers, devoted to the Day of medical workers.

The employees of VSMU: Yulia Masalkova, the Associate Professor of the Department of Medical Biology and General Genetics, and Yuri Suvorov, the Sports Club Instructor, performed successfully in these competitions. Yulia became the best in both competitive disciplines (figure driving and mountain biking), and Yuri won in mountain biking and became the second in figure driving.

On June 4, 2025, the representatives of the administration of Vitebsk State Medical University visited health care institutions of Grodno region in order to get acquainted with the working conditions of graduates at their first workplaces.

During the visit a meeting was held with young specialists of Mostovsky Central District Hospital, as well as with the provisors of the region.
