On June 16, 2025, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee hosted a meeting of the Head of the region Alexander Subbotin with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Belarus Santiago Perez Benitez.

The meeting was attended by the First Vice-Rector of Vitebsk State Medical University Alina Shchupakova.

On June 14, 2025, the city opening of the labor semester-2025 took place in the Park of Winners. The solemn ceremony dedicated to this event gathered representatives of youth squads, leaders and guests of honor.

The event was also attended by the members of the medical squad of VSMU "Eskulap", as well as the secretary of the PO "BRYU" of VSMU.

During the day for children and their parents worked interactive sites, where you could find an interesting activity for every taste. Boys of the squad "Esculap" taught the children to make a tooth out of wax, to put stitches, as well as to make bandages for cuts.

The atmosphere in the park was really festive, and the awarding of vouchers for the labor semester made the event even more solemn and significant.

We are sure that the third labor semester-2025 will be interesting, fruitful and will remain in the memory of each fighter bright event! After all, WORK is COOL!

On June 12, 2025, the final of the republican stage of the military-applied game ‘Breakthrough’ took place.

8 strongest teams - winners of qualifying stages from all over the country met in the final of the competition.

The Students of VSMU have worthily represented the University, having won the 3rd place and having demonstrated excellent preparation, cohesion and will to win.

On June 12, 2025, a large-scale festive event dedicated to the Day of Medical Workers was held at the Palace of the Republic, uniting over 2,000 medical workers from all regions of Belarus.

The best workers of the industry were awarded by the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Government, the Council of the Republic and the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. The ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest "Doctor of the Year of the Republic of Belarus" was also held here.
