On October 3, Vitebsk State Medical University will host the Republican Conference with International Participation, "The Art of Otorhinolaryngology in the City Above the Dvina," dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at VSMU.

The conference program includes a plenary session, an online broadcast of a master class from the operating room, a discussion, and an exhibition of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals. The speakers are leading otorhinolaryngologists from the country and neighboring states.

On October 1, 2025, a solemn event dedicated to Teacher's Day was held at the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk. More than a thousand of the best teachers and guests from across Belarus gathered in the hall.

On October 1, on the Day of the Elderly, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted a festive lunch to honor those who have worked or continue to work for the benefit of the university and our country for many years.

This celebratory event was organized thanks to the efforts of the university administration, veterans' and trade union organizations of VSMU, as well as the primary organizations of the «Belaya Rus» Party and the Belarusian Union of Women. The student club also presented a musical program featuring songs that have long been loved by the older generation.

On September 27, 2025, 90 employees and students of VSMU made an exciting trip to the Grand Duchy of Sula, the first interactive medieval history park in Belarus, located 50 km from Minsk on the shore of a picturesque lake.

A large stone at the entrance to the park commemorates that on September 17, 1939, the unification of Belarusian lands into a single country began from this place – then the so-called "old border" with Poland passed here.
