On March 12, 2025, on the basis of the State Educational establishment “Gymnasium № 8 in Vitebsk” there was held a career guidance meeting for parents of pupils of the 10-11 grades “Career Fair. The Way to the Future”.

The meeting with parents of pupils of the 10-11 classes was attended by the Dean of FPS VSMU Elena Gusakova, as well as the representatives of all establishments of higher education of Vitebsk.

Cardiovascular diseases are the main cause of disability and mortality worldwide. The rate of cardiovascular mortality is steadily increasing even against the background of large-scale preventive measures. Familial hypercholesterolemia is the most common genetically determined disorder of lipid metabolism, which is the main cause of development and progression of circulatory diseases. Worldwide, there are 6.8-8.5 million children with this primary dyslipidemia.

The official signing of the international agreement on creation of VSMU educational centers in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Oman took place.

The international agreement was signed by Denis Lits, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work of VSMU, and Sabouni Rami Mustafa, who presented the partner company Medical Line.
