On March 5, 2025, the administration of Vitebsk State Medical University headed by the Rector Alexey Chukanov visited medical institutions of Minsk region - Krupsk and Barysov central district hospitals, Barysov hospital No. 2, Barysov maternity hospital and Zhodino central city hospital, etc. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with potential jobs and working conditions for graduates of VSMU.

On March 2, 2025, the students and employees of VSMU plunged into the atmosphere of national holiday, taking part in a bright and cheerful celebration of Maslenitsa in the Soviet Army Park.

A lot of entertainment awaited the participants of the event: master classes, interactive platforms, performances of the youth theater “Koleso” and even the club of historical reconstruction “Wargentorn” immersed everyone in the spirit of ancient traditions.

On March 1, 2025, the excursion of the FOST students with the supervisors of the departments of Medical Biology and General Genetics and Russian and Belarusian Languages to I.E. Repin's estate “Zdravnevo” took place.

The students with pleasure took part in the festivities of the ancient holiday “Maslenitsa”: watched a theatrical performance, became participants of national games, round dances, tasted traditional pancakes and other festive delicacies, as well as visited the house-museum of the artist. Thus, the children got acquainted with Belarusian national traditions, joined the cultural values of the country where they study. They spent their day off joyfully, interestingly and unusually.

On March 3, 2025 in VSMU took place the event timed to the World Day of Civil Defense.

On this day a training exercise was held, aimed at practicing the actions of the university staff in the event of an airborne alarm.

The purpose of the training was to increase the readiness of the team to emergency situations and to ensure the safety of everyone.
