As part of the popular science expedition "Science and Education in the Russian North" of the youth and student tourism program of the Studturizm.rf platform, the delegation of our university visited the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov (Arkhangelsk).

On October 28, 2024, the anniversary week dedicated to the 90th anniversary of VSMU was launched. For the first time, the Order of Friendship of Peoples, which VSMU was awarded in 1984 for strengthening friendship between peoples and a significant contribution to economic, socio-political and cultural development, was opened for viewing.
On October 25, 2024, a Plenary Session was held to summarize the results of the XXIV International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Student Medical Science of the XXI Century".
On October 25, 2024, the grand opening of the renovated premises of six departments of VSMU took place in Vitebsk City Clinical Hospital No. 1.
The opening was attended by the VSMU Rector Alexey Chukanov, the Acting Chief Physician of the hospital Evgeny Kulyakin, the representatives of the VSMU administration, the employees and students of the university.
On October 25, 2024, VSMU took part online in the XIX Scientific and Practical Conference with the international participation "Modnikovskie Readings", organized by the partner university FSBEI HE "Ulyanovsk State University" together with the Ulyanovsk Regional Clinical Oncology Dispensary and the Association for the Assistance to Healthcare Development "Medical Chamber of the Ulyanovsk Region".
