International cooperation with China

On December 11, 2024, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits and the Head of the International Relations Department Anna Pchelintseva held online negotiations with the management of the Beijing Association "Henan Jincheng International Education Information Co."

During the negotiations, the issues of creating joint training programs with medical universities of China in the field of medicine and pharmacy were discussed. The parties agreed on cooperation and the conclusion of a corresponding agreement.

On December 11, 2024, a meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Vyacheslav Viktorovich Durnov with the students and the university workforce was held at Vitebsk State Medical University.

The meeting was held in the format of an open dialogue, which allowed the participants to freely exchange opinions and ask questions.

On December 6-7, 2024, a team of the 2nd-year students of the VSMU Faculty of Medicine took part in the IX International Student Olympiad in Morphology (Anatomy, Histology), which was held at the Novosibirsk State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. VSMU was represented at the Olympiad by: Kopyl Alexander, Korneenko Maxim, Kulagin Vasily, Matveyev Daniil, Prikhodko Alexander, Tereshenok Stanislav, the team was accompanied by the Senior lecturer of the Department of Human Anatomy Ostrovskaya T.A.

On December 11, 2024, a meeting of the VSMU administration representatives with the first-year students of the pediatric faculty on the topic of preventing extremism and terrorism was held. The students received relevant memos, the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel N.B. Dorofeev, the Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work D.K. Kuzhel, the Deputy Dean Ya.O. Perevalov gave the necessary explanations and comments.
